A booking for a party/event is not finalised until the client has been contacted by Hired DJs. Full payment must be made before the date is locked in and the booking is finalised. All payments owing for the party/event will need to be paid in full before the due date set on the invoice. If you would like the DJ to play overtime on the day/night this can be arranged. Overtime is charged at $150 per hour for party DJ hire and $250 per hour for wedding DJ hire. The payment will need to be paid as cash and paid in full before the overtime starts. Overtime is up to the DJ & venues discretion. The DJ has the right to end a party and pack up at any time if he or she feels threatened or unsafe, or believes their equipment/belongings are in danger of being damaged. If this happens NO refund will be given. Of course, Hired DJs would prefer for this not to happen, so please behave responsibly when around the DJ and respect their personal space and equipment. Hired DJs will do their best to cater to the client's music requests in the timeframe allocated. For cancellations, a $200 non-refundable save the date deposit will be taken at the time of booking. If for some reason a booking is to be cancelled and the full amount has been paid, the balance will be refunded minus the $200 save the date deposit. This is because our DJs stop taking bookings once they have received a booking and start preparing for the event.
